Translate your AppStore and Google Play description

With PhraseApp it’s possible to translate your AppStore and Google Play description, too.

Create a project for your AppStore and Google Play description

  1. Go to the project overview
  2. Click Add Project
  3. Enter a project name
  4. Select the preferred file format (We recommend Excel or CSV)
  5. Select Apple AppStore Description or Google Play Description as the Main Technology
  6. Click Save

Your project was created and includes the keys for the selected store type. Next, you should add the locales you want to translate the description for your apps into.

When you create a project for your store description, PhraseApp will create all necessary keys for you, including the settings for the required max. length.

Accessing translated descriptions for publishing

After the description for your apps is translated, we recommend downloading them as Excel or CSV files from PhraseApp and copy them into iTunes Connect / Google Play Developer Console.

Create a mobile app project and store description in one step

  1. Go to the project overview
  2. Click Add Project
  3. Enter the name of your mobile app project
  4. Select the preferred file format (probably iOS Localizable Strings or Android XML)
  5. Select iOS or Android as your Main Technology
  6. Check the checkbox Create an additional project for the store description
  7. Click Save

PhraseApp will create a project for your mobile app and a separate project for the store description in one step.
